CONTEST RULES

Contest winners may only win one prize on one station per household per calendar month from Blakeney Communications, Inc. radio stations which include B95, Rock104, KZ94.3, Alive FM and 97.7 The Groove. This will allow more people an opportunity to win a prize. This rule may be waived for certain major contests, in which case the contest specific rules will be posted.

 

Concert tickets, Southern Miss football, basketball, baseball, Lady Eagle basketball tickets,  M-Braves, Blue Bayou Waterpark or any other attraction/event tickets won from Blakeney Communications, Inc. are NOT for resale on the Internet or social media.  Most tickets have that warning printed on the ticket. The sale of promotional tickets on Swap Shops or Social Media may result in the disqualification from future contests.

 

Listeners trying to win digital/mobile concert tickets must have a smartphone and working email address at the time of winning, or they will forfeit the tickets.

 

Liability and Waivers

Winners may be asked to sign a waiver of liability and show Driver's License and provide their Social Security card to receive certain prizes.  Prize winners will receive a Form 1099 for prizes totaling more than $600 for the calendar year.

 

Rock 104 reserves the right to use any audio, video or photographic material which involves the winner or their family for promotional use without further compensation or permission.

 

Winners must waive any claims of liability against Rock 104/Rock 104  Radio Station, Blakeney Communications, Inc. its employees and agents for any personal injury or loss, including death, or any property loss or damage which may occur from participation in the contest or use of any prize.  Winners should participate and accept and use prizes on at their own risk.  Winners will be required to sign a written waiver of liability and agree to hold Blakeney Communications, Inc. harmless for any liability whatsoever related to the contest and any prizes awarded.

 

Casino Concerts

Winners must be 21 years of age or older to win.  If a winner is chosen by random drawing, who is not 21 years of age or older before the contest drawing, this person will be disqualified and another winner will be selected.

Winners must sign a waiver of liability and show Driver's License and Social Security card to claim the prize.

 

Holiday Inn Panama City Beach

Winners must be 18 years of age to win.  If a winner is chosen by random drawing who is not 18 years or older before the contest drawing, this person will be disqualified and another winner selected.

Winners must sign a waiver of liability and show Driver's License and Social Security card.

 

RULES FOR THE MORNING CREW’S FEEDING BUCKET BRACKET

1)  The 64-restaurant bracket will be filled by taking nominations via Facebook (or other social media platform) over a period of one business week (Monday-Friday). 

2) The previous year’s winner is not eligible for the current Feeding Bucket Bracket, but may return in future brackets.

3) The bracket will be ‘seeded’ by total nominations received.

4) Restaurants will be paired off in a 64-single-elimination bracket format.

5) Daily pairing(s) will be posted on the ROCK 104 Facebook page, as well as the Morning Crew Facebook page. These pairings will continue to be posted for voting until a winning restaurant is determined.

6) Votes are received in the daily pairing(s) by texting a keyword (a simplified version of the restaurant’s name) to ROCK 104’s text line (601-545-7625).  Texting fees may apply.

7) The keyword MUST BE exactly as posted; variations or misspelled keywords will not be counted.

8) You may vote only once per pairing per phone number.

9) The winning restaurant will receive a traveling trophy or similar.  There is NO CASH VALUE or other implied prize associated with winning.

10) Blakeney Communications and/or The Rock 104 Morning Crew will be solely responsible for settling any ties, disputes or controversies at their discretion and any such decision will be final.

11) Blakeney Communications and/or The Rock 104 Morning Crew may terminate this ‘contest’ at any time for any reason.

12) Blakeney Communications and/or The Rock 104 Morning Crew reserves the right to change these rules without notice.
